Does the Big 3 Package include what I need to be compliant with the new California CCPA regulations on my website?

Yes, the Privacy Notice is the only legally required document. It contains the language to help you comply with the CCPA. If you have a complex business model, it's possible you might need other documentation. However, the Big 3 Package is an excellent start.

 

Do the templates apply to individual states or are there documents needed for specific states?

The Privacy Notice is the only document required by law and it covers almost all global privacy and all U.S. states.

 

Do the templates apply to the United Kingdom?

The documents were drafted for global use, including the UK. If the California provision does not apply to you, then just delete as you would any other provisions. The privacy notice has provisions for the GDPR and the Terms and Conditions has provisions for the choice of law and jurisdiction in the UK.

Packages like Big-3 and Website Compliance Packages were also drafted for global use and can be used in the UK.

 

My website is simply informational, I don't sell anything through the site. Do I need a global use privacy policy?

If you don't collect personal data from users in other countries then it’s not required.
